Life in UTP

The last I updated my post was in 1st of February. It's been a very long time I haven't blogged as life is getting busier since I entered university. Yes, I'm a university student right now. :) Time flies, and I'm turning 18 this year. I still remember how SPM was and yes, I do miss being a high school student even though I complained a lot during that time but trust me, you'll miss it once you graduated. 

As the title of this entry shown, I'm currently studying in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). 

Yup, the awesome and luxurious Chancellor Complex of UTP!

Been studying here for months, since 18th of March and guess what, my sem 1 finals is just next week and after that I'm coming back to Sabah! :D Yeah, and so you know, the course I'm taking here is Foundation in Petroleum Engineering. 

Minggu Aluan Siswa (also known as MAS week), is the orientation week for new students in UTP

Some people might not have liked orientation week, and I gotta admit that I'm one of them. But trust me, you're so going to miss MAS week as soon as you start your lecture week even though it was a very tiring week. I had so much fun during this one week when you get to know a lot of friends as there are many sessions where students need to form groups. Especially when I'm a Sabahan, I feel extra different haha!

And this, the most amazing building in UTP, known as Information Resource Center (IRC) or just for short, the library. The idea of building this library is based on the structure of oil rig.

Yup, this is engineering school where the ratio of girls to boy is 3:7 haha!

That is all for MAS week because I'm too lazy to type right now :p

Here goes a bit of my lecture weeks. Subjects I took for semester 1 is Pre-Calculus, Physics I, Chemistry I and English I. For Physics and Chemistry, of course, you can't run from lab. You need to do 6 experiments for Physics and 5 experiments for Chemistry. The process of conducting experiment was fun, but completing lab report is not cool though. Have fun doing it for whoever coming in this coming July! :p

These two are my Chemistry lab mates throughout the whole semester 1. And yeah, we're the 1 Malaysia group!

There's more to go but I needa continue studying as finals is just around the corner. :)
